Wood Manufacturing Council
The council's mandate is to plan, develop and implement human resources strategies that support the long-term growth and competitiveness of Canada's advanced wood products manufacturing industry and meet the developmental needs of its workforce.

The Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources protects Ontario's biodiversity while promoting economic opportunities in the resource sector. It is also responsible for regulating the forestry industry and is a proponent of creating a responsible and highly-trained workforce within the wood manufacturing industry.
